Selecting the correct type of air filter for your equipment is no easy task. With so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to determine what air filters are best for your specific application.
APC has the capabilities to design and manufacture custom air filters to fit your equipment’s requirement. We have worked with global manufacturers that span a wide range of applications from HVAC, Food and Beverage, Cabin Air, Infection Isolation Rooms and many more. Each application has unique needs and challenges that require custom, professional solutions. At APC, we successfully work to develop air filtration solutions to meet these challenges.
Custom Air Filters Manufacturing by APC
APC has designs air filters to meet a variety of applications. Resistance to water, humidity, heat, cold, bacteria, viruses, dangerous gases, odors – you name it, we can make it. If your application requires more than a standard air filter, APC can provide a custom air filter design with intensely-regulated certifications.
HEPA filters are essential for any application requiring critical air filtration. More and more industries are beginning to use HEPA Filters for standard safety measures as opposed to standard air filters because the level of filtration is that much higher. HEPA Filters capture a minimum of 99.97% of 0.3-micron particles that pass through the filter. This is the hardest particle size to filter. For HEPA filters to meet the requirements set by US and European test standards, they must go through rigorous testing. APC HEPA filters all pass the required tests and are certified HEPA.
For businesses requiring ultra air filtration, ULPA filters are the next step up. They filter 99.9995% up to 99.999995% of particles at 0.12 microns. For biological or chemical environments dealing with sub micron size particles, ULPA filters are necessary. Scientific laboratories or hospitals, for example, can often benefit from ULPA filters.
Additional Air Filtration
For applications that require VOC or odor removal, APC also manufactures Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filters. This carbon filter absorbs dangerous gases and VOCs in both indoor environments and outdoor equipment, like off-road vehicles, to ensure the safety of employees and operators.
Where bacteria and viruses are an issue, like isolation rooms or agricultural applications, an antimicrobial agent can be applied to the filter. This prohibits bacteria and virus growth to prevent the spread of micro-organisms entering rooms or buildings. If you are worried about the spread of bacteria and viruses, having an antimicrobial filter is probably the right choice for you.
Both the GAC and antimicrobial filters can be used in conjunction with our other types of filters for more efficient filtration.
