A manufacturer of aseptic processing equipment contacted APC for a custom made HEPA filter.  The filter needed to work with processing equipment that achieved sterility using a flash-heating process (temperature between 195 and 295 °F or 91 to 146 °C).  APC designed the HEPA filter including the housing unit using a stainless steel capable of withstanding a vaporized hydrogen peroxide cleaning cycle.
